Capsule Endoscopy

A trip inside the digestive tract
Digestive Endoscopic Capsule is a device of reduced dimensions that once ingested allows imaging of the digestive tract during its travel.
Is used for the study of pathologies of the small intestine.
The camera contained in the capsule takes pictures and transmits to a device worn by the patient on a belt. The information collected is processed by a computer, and finally examined by the doctor. At the end of the tour the capsule is eliminated with feces (no need to pick it up).
The patient should go fasting, no solids or liquids and loose clothing. During the eight hours that lasts examination, the patient doesn’t need to be in the clinic, so you can leave if you want, and return about 6 hours to deliver the belt.
